September 2020 Newsletter

Dear Fellow Auto Enthusiast,
Welcome to the September newsletter of Blue Collar Muscle Rods & Custom.  Last month I shared with you progress on the exterior siding, drywall, floor paint, HVAC, and plumbing.  September was a good month with significant progress.  The following words and photos will detail much of what has been completed.  This month progress was on the drywall, insulation, electric service, and septic system.  The push is on now as the leaves change and the weather turns colder.  Join us on our Facebook page as the construction phase comes to a close and we start working on cars and trucks in the coming months.

The first area of progress I want to share with you is the construction crew has completed a significant amount of drywall.  Frankly, there are numerous photos of drywall that could fill several pages in the newsletter but the photos above will give you a good idea of the work that has been completed.  A semi-truck with a flat bed trailer made three trips to deliver all of the drywall.  It goes up fast and the crew has started finishing the seams in preparation for paint.
The crew applied spray foam insulation to all of the vertical exterior and attic surfaces.
The power company sent all available trucks and the power is on now.  The shop has 400amp service.
For this last part there’s not much to say except the excavator installed the septic system.  The well is scheduled to be drilled in October.
Last month I shared some information that will differentiate us from other shops.  This month consider:

We do our best to provide a detailed estimate and include options so that you can decide what’s right for your hotrod and your budget.

We don’t underestimate the parts or labor to lure you in and then hit you with significant increases.  We are forthcoming with the costs and recommend that you compare estimates.

Photos are sent at lunchtime and at the end of the day, every day we are working on your car.  We want you to see the high quality work we are doing on your vehicle.  Some shops won’t send you in-process photos because if they did, you would see the poor quality work they are doing to your car!
While we build our new shop, we’d like to keep in touch.  Please like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/BlueCollarMuscleRods/ and check our webpage for the gallery of construction photos and videos by clicking on the ‘TAKE A SHOP TOUR” button, https://bluecollarmusclerods.com

Thank you to all of the suppliers and vendors for your support and hard work in everything that you have done thus far.  I look forward to our continued collaboration and friendship.

We will be sending out newsletters and updates from time to time to keep you posted. In the meantime, please feel free to offer any feedback and let us know how we can make your Muscle Car, Rod, or Custom build dreams a reality.

Let us show you what we can do!

Sincerely,
Eric Meyer
